Welcome to the Cossitt BASE family!
At Cossitt Base we offer a fun and safe environment for your child(ren) before and after school.
In the mornings we offer breakfast, activity centers, and a fun place to wake up before school starts.
In the afternoons we provide a snack, outside/gym time, homework time, crafts, and activities. We strive to bring an enriched recreational curriculum as well as socialization and activities to all BASE kids.
At BASE we feel communication between staff and parents is key to ensure that any insights, concerns, or highlights are shared. Ms. Jordan is the Cossitt supervisor and will be your main contact person for schedule changes, someone new will be picking up your child(ren), or if you have any questions or concerns.
Our partnership with School District 102 allows us to bus Kindergarten Base students to their home schools for the family’s convenience.
Currently Cossitt’s bussing options are as follows:
Barnsdale and Cossitt- Kindergarteners can be dropped off at Cossitt morning Base and bussed to Barnsdale for the school day. Unfortunately, Cossitt’s afternoon spaces are reserved for 1-6 grade students at Cossitt, therefore Kindergarteners cannot be bussed back to Cossitt in the afternoon and must stay at Barnsdale for Afternoon Base
