Summer Camp Registration
Summer Camp registration is avaialble online this year! Registration starts at 8:00am March 1, 2023.
Go to https://pdlg.org and click on the yellow Online Registration button at the top of the page.
If you choose to register in person, the registration forms will be available at the Park District. They are also available to print online from the link below.

This year we are launching a new online application called Epact for the rest of your registration information which means you have some time to submit emergency contact information, field trip permission slips, etc. We will get that information out to registered families as soon as it is ready, so stay tuned for that.
We are offering several summer camps this year! Please take a look below at our camp options as well as before and after care options.
Little Explorers
This camp is for kids who like ADVENTURE and FUN! We have a variety of activities planned for each themed week of camp. Some of the activities include crafts, games, music, Storytime, nature, drama, cooking, and special “in-house” field trips! Each child is asked to bring a lunch, snack, and reusable water bottle with their name on it every day of camp. Little Explorers is a nut-free zone. All campers will receive a t-shirt! We encourage campers to wear their camp shirts. Little Explorers takes place at Congress Park School.

Camp Apollo
Camp Apollo is held at Denning Park. Camp Apollo is designed for our youth to grow, increase self-confidence, self-esteem, take risks, broaden their horizons and discover new strengths, all while developing values, respect and forming new friendships along the way! Summer camp is offered for campers to have a safe, fun and memorable summer.
Our summer plans include weekly themes, daily activities to coordinate with those themes, creative arts and crafts, games, camp songs, sports, healthy kids activities (yoga, dance, aerobics) and water games.
Summer camp will provide every opportunity for campers to fully engage in all activities and strive for their emotional, social and athletic potential. We look forward to seeing your camper this summer making new friends and having a safe fun summer!

Camp Quest
This camp is an outdoor based camp with a focus on group games, arts and crafts, and individual and team sports. Each week will have a different theme, and each day will have a routine schedule of activities. Field trips and swimming are all included in the fee and the fun. The children will go on field trips on a school bus once a week on Wednesdays. Each child will receive a t-shirt to be worn on Wednesdays for the field trips. Campers are to bring a sack lunch, drink, and two snacks.

Camp Mighty Munchkins

Congress Park Summer School Summer Camp
This 3-week camp coincides with School District 102’s Summer school and will run from June 12 – Jun3 30.
Camp will run 11:30am-5:00pm Monday-Thursday and 8:00am- 5:00pm on Fridays. There are no before or after care options for Summer School Camp.

The counselors are trained in CPR and 1st aid, they go through a counselor training the week before camp begins and help set up the camp location.
Campers will receive a T-shirt. Please wear that on Field Trip days when we travel off site. Thank you!
