Park Pride

Park Pride is a village-wide volunteer service day dedicated to beautifying our parks and outdoor spaces. Residents donate one morning of their time to help improve our community! Gardens are weeded and planted, trees mulched, small branches picked up, walkways swept and litter collected. Special projects are also planned for each park location. Maps, bags, some gloves and tools are also provided. We encourage volunteers to also bring their own tools such as rakes, shovels for mulching and hand tools for weeding if at all possible. Please label your tools if you bring them.
REGISTRATION Please register at the Registration Center, 536 East Avenue. Registration includes the completion of a waiver for participation. Groups are encouraged to pre-register. To pre-register your large group please email Diana Faught at dianafaught@ pdlg.org. A parent or guardian must sign a waiver for each minor who chooses to participate. You may also register the day of the event at the Recreation Center beginning at 8:30 a.m. or pick up a registration form in the lobby of the Recreation Center or download the registration form from our website, www.pdlg.org.
